CHARITIES & DONATIONS
Rose’s Café is very supportive of giving to those
in our community who are less fortunate. Our donation policy
is described below. Should you have any questions please contact

Donation Guidelines
Donations will be considered for non-profit organizations
that meet the following criteria:
1. Local Schools attended by our patrons’ families.
2. Organizations that are San Francisco based, or national-based,
that provide services to help those less advantaged and that
help to build a stronger, sustainable community.
Within this context we will limit contributions to a given
organization to 1 gift per year. Since Rose’s is part
of a family of restaurants (Terzo & Rose Pistola) we
may consider a gift from a sister restaurant to fill the
limit
of giving for that organization for the year.
We will consider donating to non-profit organizations that:
• Are action-oriented
• Are strategically focused
• Focus on children and their families
• Accomplish specific goals and objectives (but that are non-political
or non-religious)
• Do work in our local community
• For local contributions we will give gift certificates of
$50 or $100
•
For large contributions we will donate food, personal time
and money specific to the cause.
How to Apply:
If your work fits within our guidelines, we prefer to receive
proposals in the fall in order to incorporate the giving
into our budget cycle (our budgets are established in
December
for the subsequent year). Please be sure to have submitted
your requests before our busy holiday season. While we would
prefer to have all requests prior to the start of the subsequent
year, we will consider on a case-by-case basis requests
after December.
When writing your proposal please remember
to be concise, straightforward and to the point. We want
to know who you
are, what your goals are, and how you plan to achieve them
with our help. Please note in the proposal if your organization
has received a donation from Rose’s Café before,
if so how much & when was the donation given. Please

After receiving your proposal,
we will notify you of our decision. Please be aware that
our donation ability is
a function of
our year-end budgeting and the strength of our business.
We may not be able to give the same year to year.
